About Patrick

Patrick O'Ceallaigh, Buffalo real estate agent

I'm Patrick O'Ceallaigh, a full-time residential real estate agent serving the Buffalo metro and Western New York. Real estate isn't a career change for me — it's a convergence. My grandfather owned commercial and residential investment properties; my father built custom homes. I grew up understanding this business from the foundation up.

An analytical approach to a local market

My background is in Computer Science and Applied Statistics, and I'm using it to build a more systematic approach to pricing and market analysis. I treat a comparative market analysis as a data problem rather than a gut call — and I show the reasoning so you can follow and check it, not just take it on faith. In Buffalo's older housing stock, where two homes on the same block can be worth very different amounts for reasons that aren't obvious, that rigor is where good decisions come from.

Experience that translates

Before real estate, I spent fifteen years in two client-facing disciplines that carry directly into this work. In financial services, I guided clients through consequential decisions with clarity and without pressure. In hospitality, I ran high-volume, high-expectation environments where reading people and delivering a consistent experience were the baseline. Both demand the same core skill: earning trust quickly and keeping it under pressure.

Why Buffalo

My husband grew up in West Seneca, and when he retired we relocated to Buffalo to be closer to family. I'm not passing through. I'm full-time, I'm committed to this market, and I'm building a practice designed to last — one client relationship at a time.
